Our finca is located at approx. 700 metres above sea level above La Orotava. It offers a breathtaking view over the Orotava Valley and is located on the way to the Teide National Park.

From garden to permaculture: Before that, the garden was in a depleted state. It’s great to see how year after year the biodiversity of insects, flowers and plants returns and grows. Permaculture is exactly the right way for us. It teaches us mindfulness and patience.
Avocado trees are in the majority in our garden alongside various fruit trees. We plant our vegetables in raised beds.

Happy Chicks: Happy free-range chickens are given plenty of exercise and fresh green feed, maize and grain. We love poultry and still have a lot of dreams with them that want to be realised.
Our herd of horses is a particularly lovely and diverse bunch – an integral part of our family. These four came to Tenerife by lorry and ferry. The changeover was not easy, as the feed quality is anything but good. But horses are very robust and strong animals. They are true teachers and it is simply brilliant how much we have grown with them. Thank you for all the healing and joy you give us humans!

ETU – Appaloosa (Breed)
The cool herd leader Etu, a true Nez Percé Appaloosa, is a mentally very strong horse,
who requires a lot of clarity from his counterpart. He has been part of our lives since he was born.

COMPLICE – Camarque
The gentle Camargue mare with a lot of temperament. Especially when it comes to the right ‘dose’ of
body language and energy, Complice is a good teacher.

JOJO – German Classic Pony
The typical pony. More precisely, a ‘German Classic Pony’ that has grown up driving carriages. He is very greedy, lazy and cuddly – a teacher when it comes to getting his own way.
MIA – Shettland Pony
The totally atypical pony. Mia is a severely traumatised Shettland pony. Despite years of rehabilitation, she does not trust humans and certain behavioural patterns
behaviour patterns cannot be erased. Her behaviour is that of a large thoroughbred horse and she is a mentor in non-verbal communication.

We have 3 dogs – on the left you can see Mikey (French Bulldog). We have many years of practical experience with dogs. Especially with fear and street dogs.

Tiger & Leona are Greek street dogs.

Mau the male cat and Mini the cat are the hard-working mousers on the finca – well, at least Mini is!
