EM-a stands for Effective Microorganisms (activated), which together form a probiotic community.

Effective Microorganism Activators (EM-a) are the natural alternative to chemicals or pesticides. A large number of different microbes (yeasts, lactic acid and photosynthetic bacteria) live in symbiosis in EM-active.

We have been using EM-active in our lives for over 15 years. It is a particular game changer in animal husbandry. Urine (ammonia) is bound in the stable, which is very pleasing. The most important thing when storing EM-a is to avoid contact with air as far as possible. If EM-a comes into contact with a little air, white yeast flakes may form.
